RC day of prayer and intercession
This upcoming Friday, November 16 we would like to invite all Regnum Christi members to participate in a day of prayer and intercession so that during this historic moment of the General Chapter and Assembly we may be open to listen to the Lord and his will for us.
Depending on personal and community initiatives, there are many ways to partake in this day of prayer and intercession, but attached you will find a document to help those who choose to have adoration on this day.
Let us pray for Regnum Christi
There are only few weeks left before the Extraordinary General Chapter and the RC General Assembly. We would like to invite you all to pray, especially during the Holy Hour of each Thursday, for each branch of Regnum Christi and for the meetings themselves. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Mt 18,20
Thursday, November 1: Let us pray for the RC Lay Members and meditate on the following passage: Matthew 5, 13-16. “Salt and light of the world”
Thursday, November 8: Let us pray for the Lay Consecrated Men and meditate on the following passage: Luke 10, 25-36. “The Good Samaritan”
Thursday, November 15: Let us pray for the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi and meditate on the following passage: Matthew 28, 1-8. “After his resurrection, Jesus appears to the holy women”
Thursday, November 22: Let us pray for the Legionaries of Christ and meditate on the following passage: John 13, 2-15. “The washing of the feet.”
During the Holy Hours, we would also like to invite you to do the PRAYER FOR THE RENEWAL PROCESS.
General Statutes Status
Moving Forward Toward The General Statutes
“With the help of the Holy See, Regnum Christi is going through the process of reviewing it’s draft General Statutes as a step towards a canonical configuration for the Regnum Christi Movement. In a few weeks, representatives from each branch of Regnum Christi (Legionaries of Christ, consecrated women of Regnum Christi, lay consecrated men of Regnum Christi and lay members of Regnum Christi) will meet in a two part General Assembly, the first part will occur in April 2018 and the second part will occur in November 2018. Prior to the two part General Assembly of the Regnum Christi Movement, The Legionaries of Christ will meet for an Extraordinary General Chapter of the Legionaries of Christ, and the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi and the Lay Consecrated Men of Regnum Christi will each have an Extraordinary General Assembly.”
