La mayor parte de su experiencia apostólica ha sido en el ámbito del gobierno y de la formación de consagradas. Fue gerente del Centro estudiantil de Monterrey desde 2000 hasta 2002.  Posteriormente desempeñó su servicio apostólico como directora de la comunidad de consagradas de Barcelona y directora del colegio Highlands de la misma ciudad. De octubre de 2004 a septiembre de 2005 fue gerente del Centro de Formación de Cerro del Coto, en Madrid. Del 2005 al 2011 fue la gerente de la comunidad de la Sede de la asistente del director general en La Giustiniana, Roma. Fue la Asistente del director territorial de Europa occidental y central, y directora de la comunidad de consagradas de Düsseldorf desde 2011 hasta mayo de 2012.El Delegado Pontificio, S.E. Card. De Paolis, la nombró primera Responsable general de la Asociación de las Consagradas del Regnum Christi. La Asamblea general la eligió como directora general en diciembre de 2013.

She was born on March 18, 1975 in Madrid, Spain.  She was consecrated on August 30, 1998.

Most of her apostolic experience has been in the area of government and the formation of consecrated women.  She was the vice director of the pre-candidacy in Monterrey, Mexico from 2000 to 2002.  She later served as the director of the community of consecrated women in Barcelona, Spain and as director of the Highlands School.  From October 2004 to September 2005, she was vice director of the formation center in Madrid, Spain.  From 2005 to 2011 she was the vice director of the community of the assistant to the general director in La Giustiniana, Rome. She was the assistant to the territorial director of Western and Central Europe, and director of the community of consecrated women in Düsseldorf, Germany from 2011 to May 2012. The Pontifical Delegate, Cardenal De Paolis, appointed her as the first general director of the Association of Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi. The General Assembly elected her as general director in December 2013.

“During these years in which I have collaborated with the general committee of Regnum Christi, I have been able to corroborate first hand that the motor of each of the branches is the same:  love for Christ, for souls and for the Movement.  This framework of collaboration has allowed me to discover that there are in fact different views, but the love that moves us is the same, and this has filled me with trust.  Trust is my first disposition as I face these Assemblies.

I ask you for prayers so that we all open ourselves to the action of the Holy Spirit, and so that Christ, to whom we all profess a great love, will help all of Regnum Christi to rekindle the gift that he has placed within us.»

Mi primer destino apostólico fue como Asistente del administrador territorial para sud américa por un año al salir del centro de formación y después asistente del administrador territorial para México y Monterrey por seis años. Fui directora del Highlands Barcelona por seis años, Directora del Cumbres de Valencia por dos años y ahora llevo cinco años y medio apoyando en la administración en Roma, cuatro de los cuales como ecónoma general.

Casi toda mi vida he tenido la oportunidad de trabajar directamente con los padres Legionarios y consagrados, además de las consagradas obviamente. Me cuesta concebir el Regnum Christi si no es como una gran familia en donde cada uno tiene su papel y complementa al otro. Mi experiencia apostólica podría decir que es lo que he vivido en mis años en el apostolado, trabajando en conjunto y apoyándonos continuamente en nuestras caídas y levantadas. Me ha ayudado mucho trabajar con los niños, jóvenes, las familias, pero también aprendo y disfruto el trabajo interno.

La expectactiva que tengo para esta Asamblea es que Dios pueda actuar libremente a través de nosotras, y a todas quisiera pedirles oraciones por un Regnum Christi renovado y fortalecido en el amor real y apasionado a Cristo.

I am from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  I am the youngest of seven children: five sons and two daughters.  I was born on September 15, 1972 and was consecrated on December 4, 1994.  I currently live in the community of the general direction in Rome.  I am very grateful to my community, because even though I have to spend long periods of time travelling, they always make me feel welcomed and at home.

In my first apostolate after formation I was the assistant to the territorial administrator in South America.  After one year, I became the assistant to the territorial administrator in Mexico City and Monterrey.  I had that apostolate for six years.  Then I was the director of the Highlands School in Barcelona, Spain for six years.  Next, I was director of the Cumbres School in Valencia, Spain for two years.  I have been working in administration in Rome for five and a half years.  For four of those years, I have been the general administrator of the consecrated women.

Almost all of my life I have had the opportunity to work directly with the Legionaries and consecrated men, in addition to the consecrated women.  It is difficult for me to envision Regnum Christi without seeing it like a big family where each one has his/her role which is complementary to the others. This is what I have experienced in my years in the apostolate, working together and continually supporting each other in our successes and falls.  It has helped me a lot to work with children, young people, and families, but I also learn from and enjoy the internal apostolate.

The expectation that I have for this Assembly is that God can freely act through us.  I would like to ask all of you for prayers for a Regnum Christi renewed and strengthened in a real and passionate love for Christ.

Me consagré el 22 de agosto de 2002 y actualmente soy parte de la comunidad de Castel di Guido.

Hice formación en Cerro del Coto y a la mitad del tercer año salí al apostolado a Le Chatelard por dos años y medio. Fue mi primer apostolado. Me tocó fundar NET la sección del ECYD y formar el primer grupo de Escuela de Padres en Ginebra y Lausanne. Luego fui a París como directora de comunidad y de la Sección de Jóvenes. También hice giras a Bruselas y a Bordeaux. Trabajé con los jóvenes del Regnum Christi y en el Colegio Dupanloup de la diócesis de Nanterre por cinco años. Fui Directora Territorial de Europa Central y Occidental durante un año antes de ser elegida consejera general.

Mi expectativa para esta asamblea es lograr una actitud de discernimiento  que nos permita ver con la mayor claridad posible los caminos por los que quiere llevarnos Dios. Escuchar al Espíritu Santo y caminar juntos como familia espiritual.

Les pido oraciones para que sepamos escuchar el plan de Dios. Para que comprendamos con la mente y el corazón los caminos por los que Él quiere hacer presente su Reino.

I am from Mexico City, Mexico.  I was born on August 18, 1978, and I am the oldest of three children.  I have a brother and a sister.

I was consecrated on August 22, 2002, and I am currently a member of the community of the general direction in Rome.

I had two and a half years of formation in the formation center in Madrid, Spain.  In the middle of my third year, I went to Switzerland to Le Chatelard Academy.  It was my first apostolate.  I was there for two and a half years.  I started NET and the ECYD section and formed the first group of the “School of Parents” in Geneva and Lausanne.  I then went to Paris where I was the director of the community of consecrated women and director of the youth section.  I also was on the road team that travelled to Brussels and Bordeaux.  I worked with Regnum Christi youth and in the Dupanloup School in the diocese of Nanterre for five years.  I was the territorial director for central and western Europe for a year before being elected a general councilor.

My expectations for this assembly are to achieve an attitude of discernment that allows us to see as clearly as possible the way God wants to lead us, and to listen to the Holy Spirit and walk together as a spiritual family.

I ask for prayers so that we can hear God’s plan, and so that we may understand with our minds and hearts the ways in which He wants to make his Kingdom present.

He trabajado como directora de colegio en el Irish Institue de Roma nueve años y como directora de Le Châtelard seis años. En Francia fui la encargada de los clubes del ECYD diez años. También fui directora de sección en París durante cinco años, hice giras a Burdeos un año, y asistente de la sección de señoras en París cuatro años. I was born in Mexico City on September 19, 1959 and was consecrated on August 29, 1984.  I currently am part of the community of the general direction in Rome.

For nine years I worked in Rome as the director of the school, the Irish Institute.  I was director of Le Châtelard Academy in Switzerland for six years.  In France, I was responsible for the ECYD clubs for ten years.  I also was the director of the section in Paris for five years, was on the road team that travelled to Bordeaux, and was the assistant for the women’s Regnum Christi section in Paris for four years.  I was responsible for the studies program of the consecrated women in the formation center in Madrid, Spain as well as a spiritual director.  I was also a spiritual director for the consecrated women in the formation center in Monterrey, Mexico and for those in the territory of Mexico for two years.  I am now a general councilor.

Nací en Calgary, Canadá, el 14 de septiembre de 1971.  Mis papás y tres de mis hermanos viven en Calgary, además tengo otro hermano que vive en Regina, Canadá con su familia.  Tengo nueve sobrinos y pasan mucho tiempo en familia todos juntos. Estudié educación en la Universidad de Calgary.

Me consagré en 1992. Hice primero y segundo de formación en Rhode Island, y como apostolado trabajaba en una parroquia. Después fui asistente en el centro de formación un ano, y otro gerente del centro estudiantil.  En 1996 me destinaron al centro de formación de Teotepec como asistente y un año después llegué a Irlanda como directora de la Academia.  Estuve ocho años en Irlanda y los últimos abrimos el Kínder Irlandés. Después tuve la oportunidad de regresar un año para terminar mis estudios de formación y luego me destinaron a Dallas ocho años como directora de formación en el colegio Highlands. Fui parte del consejo territorial los últimos años en Dallas.

Mirando hacia atrás, en estos 25 años puedo ver como cada apostolado, cada comunidad, cada país, me ha enriquecido y cómo he ido aprendiendo de todo y de todos, además de ver la mano de Dios que me ha ido forjando en todo.  Cada cambio me costó, pero en cada uno puede hacer la experiencia una y otra vez de sentir que llegando al nuevo lugar, estaba “en casa”.  Costó dejar cada lugar, me encariñé con las personas, pero encontré el espíritu del movimiento ahí donde iba y esto me hizo sentir en casa.

Estos últimos años en el consejo general y estos años de renovación, he podido encontrar y conocer a muchos miembros del Regnum Christi de las diversas ramas y de diferentes culturas, y en ellos he encontrado la misma resonancia del carisma.  Espero nunca acostumbrarme a ver la belleza de esta sintonía en lo esencial que se crea entre ramas y culturas, y nuestra riqueza en la diversidad.

Voy a la asamblea pidiendo a Dios que me ayude a tener un corazón abierto y humilde que me permita escucharle a El y a cada miembro del Regnum Christi para ir buscando juntos el camino para mejor servir a Dios y a su Iglesia.

I was born in Calgary, Canada on September 14, 1971.  My parents and three of my siblings live in Calgary.  I also have a brother who lives in Regina, Canada with his family.  I have nine nieces and nephews, and they spend a lot of time together as a family.  I studied education at the University of Calgary.

I was consecrated in 1992.  I studied my first and second year of formation in Rhode Island, and as apostolate I worked in a parish.  Afterwards, I was an assistant in the formation center for one year, and another year as vice director of the pre-candidacy.  In 1996, I was sent to the formatin center in Teotepec, Mexico as an assistant.  One year later, I went to Ireland as the director of the academy.  I was in Ireland for eight years.  In the last years that I was there, we opened the Irish kindergarten.  Afterwards, I had the opportunity to return one year to formation in order to finish my studies.  I then went to Dallas for eight years as the director of formation in the Highlands School.  I was part of the territorial council in my last years in Dallas.

Looking back at these 25 years, I can see how each apostolate, each community, each country, has enriched me and how I have learned from everything and everyone, as well as seeing the hand of God that has forged me in everything.  Each change was difficult, but in each one I had the experience again and again of feeling that I was “at home” when I arrived to a new place. It was hard to leave each place, I grew fond of people, but I found the spirit of the Movement wherever I went, and this made me feel at home.

In recent years in the general council and in these years of renewal, I have been able to meet and get to know many members of Regnum Christi from different branches and cultures, and in them I have found the same resonance of the charism. I hope I never get used to seeing the beauty of this harmony in the essential that is created between branches and cultures, and our richness in diversity.

I am going to the assembly asking God to help me have an open and humble heart that allows me to listen to Him and to each member of Regnum Christi, so as to search together for the way to better serve God and his Church.

En mi recorrido apostólico siempre he estado en México, y los apostolados que he realizado son:

4. Consejera territorial de México (2012-2015)
5. Desde el 2014 soy consejera general de las consagradas del Regnum Christi y miembro del comité general del Regnum Christi.

Sin duda alguna uno de los regalos más grandes que el Señor me ha concedido en mi vida es el haber podido colaborar en Juventud y Familia Misionera por casi 25 años. Yo no sería quien soy sin las misiones. Lo que viví a lo largo de todos esos años es difícil de expresar con palabras. Sólo puedo agradecer al Señor por la oportunidad que me dio de colaborar en esta obra suya, tan maravillosa y que tanto bien ha hecho en el corazón de tantas personas. Cada año me emocionaba enormemente en las misas de clausura de las misiones de Semana Santa; era conmovedor ver el rostro y la mirada tan llena de Dios de miles de misioneros y nunca me cansaré de agradecer a Dios por ese milagro. ¡En las misiones aprendí tanto de la fe de la gente sencilla de los pueblos que visitábamos! Vi vocaciones sacerdotales salvadas, personas que vivían en un sinsentido y que, misionando o recibiendo a los misioneros, se convertían y volvían a Dios. Fui testigo de numerosos milagros, porque el Señor hace grandes cosas a través de un corazón que se le presta. Podría contar cientos de historias… Gracias a las misiones tantas y tantas personas que no conocían a Dios, tuvieron la gracia de conocerle, de experimentar su bondad, su ternura, su amor, su misericordia. Y para mi, no hay mayor regalo que el que una persona pueda conocer a Dios y encontrarse con Cristo en su corazón. Sólo puedo dar gracias al Señor por su infinita misericordia y por bendecir tanto las misiones. En las misiones de Juventud y Familia Misionera todo el Regnum Christi nos uníamos como familia: sacerdotes, consagradas y laicos… todos unidos en torno a un ideal: predicar el Evangelio y llevar la Buena Nueva de Cristo. Una profunda experiencia del carisma apostólico del Regnum Christi y de la comunión entre todas las ramas del Regnum Christi.

Mis expectativas para esta asamblea, es que juntas podamos discernir bajo la guía del Espíritu Santo cuál debe ser la figura canónica que mejor custodie nuestra identidad como consagradas del Regnum Christi y que podamos reflexionar en los diversos temas del borrador del Estatuto del Regnum Christi. Que podamos vivir ambas asambleas en un clima de oración y de verdadero discernimiento personal y comunitario. También que podamos vivir las asambleas en un ambiente de verdadera caridad y comunión entre nosotras y con las demás ramas del Regnum Christi. Que sólo busquemos discernir lo que Dios quiere y espera de nosotros y que no nos dejemos llevar por miedos y predisposiciones.

Finalmente, pido oraciones para que todos los delegados que participaremos en estas asambleas nos mantengamos abiertos y atentos a la voz del Espíritu Santo, de modo que nos dejemos guiar, iluminar, sorprender y llevar por Él para que el plan de Dios se cumpla en nuestra rama y en todo el Regnum Christi y así podamos cumplir con la misión que Él nos encomienda y le demos gloria al Señor.

I am Cristina Danel from Mexico City.  I have two younger brothers.  My mom passed away 17 years ago.  I am currently in the community of the general direction in Rome, serving God and my consecrated sisters as a general councilor and as a member of the general committee of Regnum Christi.

My apostolic experience has always been in Mexico.  I have had the following apostolates:

1. National director of Volunteers in Action (2001-2005)
2. National director of Mission Network (2006-2012)
3. National director of Youth and Family Missions (2002-2014)
4. Territorial councilor of Mexico (2012-2015)
5. Since 2014 I have been a general councilor for the consecrated women of Regnum Christi and a member of the general committee of Regnum Christi.

Undoubtedly, one of the greatest gifts that the Lord has given me in my life is having been able to collaborate in Youth and Family Missions for almost 25 years. I would not be who I am today without the missions. What I experienced during all those years is difficult to express in words. I can only thank the Lord for the opportunity he gave me to collaborate in this marvelous work of his, that has done so much good in the hearts of so many people. Every year I was very excited at the closing Mass of the Holy Week missions.  It was touching to see thousands of missionaries with a look so full of God.  I will never tire of thanking God for that miracle. In the missions I learned so much from the faith of the simple people of the villages we visited! I saw priestly vocations saved, people who lived without meaning and who, missioning or receiving the missionaries, converted and returned to God. I witnessed many miracles, because the Lord does great things through a heart that is lent to him. I could tell hundreds of stories.  Thanks to the missions, many people who did not know God had the grace to know him, to experience his kindness, his tenderness, his love, and his mercy.  And for me, there is no greater gift than that a person can know God and meet Christ in his heart.  I can only thank the Lord for his infinite mercy and for blessing the missions so much.  In the missions of Youth and Family Missions all of Regnum Christi united as a family: priests, consecrated women and laity.  All united around an ideal: to preach the Gospel and to bring the Good News of Christ.  It was a profound experience of the apostolic charism of Regnum Christi and of the communion between all of the branches of Regnum Christi.

My expectations for this assembly are that together we can discern under the guidance of the Holy Spirit what should be the canonical configuration that best protects our identity as consecrated women of Regnum Christi, and that we can reflect on the various themes of the draft of the General Statute of Regnum Christi. I hope that we live both assemblies in a climate of prayer and true personal and community discernment.  Also, I hope that we can live the assemblies in an atmosphere of true charity and communion between us and with the other branches of Regnum Christi, so that we only seek to discern what God wants and expects from us and that we do not let ourselves be carried away by fears and predispositions.

Finally, I ask for prayers so that all of the delegates that will participate in these assemblies remain open and attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit, so that we allow ourselves to be guided, enlightened, surprised and led by Him so that God’s plan is fulfilled in our branch and in all of Regnum Christi, and therefore we can fulfill the mission that He entrusts to us and give glory to the Lord.

Me consagré el 26 de noviembre de 1989. Como consagrada los primeros años de apostolado los dediqué al trabajo en la sección de señoritas del Poniente de la ciudad de México y al trabajo con las colaboradoras. Después de unos años me fui a trabajar en la formación de consagradas en los centros de formación de Roma, Monterrey y Madrid; labor a la que he dedicado gran parte de mi vida como consagrada. Estos últimos años he estado prestando el servicio de consejera general del gobierno de las consagradas.

La experiencia como directora de sección de señoritas en la ciudad de México implicaba la atención a otras secciones de provincia que dependían de nuestra sección. Recuerdo que esos años pudimos formar un estupendo equipo de trabajo entre consagradas, formadoras y miembros de segundo grado de la sección, que con una honda conciencia de su vocación de apóstoles y profundamente apasionadas por Jesucristo, buscaban formarse para ser cristianas íntegras, comprometidas en su vida familiar y en su ambiente social, así como en sus estudios y vida profesional. Buscaban en medio de sus diversas responsabilidades, dedicar tiempo para que otras jóvenes pudieran hacer la experiencia que ellas estaban haciendo, y de este modo se comprometían como responsables de equipos, apoyaban en el ECYD y trabajo con adolescentes, visitaban algunas veces al año secciones de provincias para ayudar ahí en la capacitación y formación de formadoras de esas localidades. Recuerdo que los encuentros con Cristo, así como momentos de adoración eucarística les daban la fuerza, la alegría y el impulso necesarios para ser testigos de un amor que habían encontrado. Recuerdo esta experiencia como algo verdaderamente estimulante y comprometedor para ellas y para mí misma. En esa época aprendí mucho del modo de trabajar con jóvenes por parte de algunos legionarios y consagradas que nos daban capacitación y acompañamiento a quiénes teníamos menos experiencia.

Espero que esta Asamblea sea un tiempo que nos ayude a renovar y fortalecer el impulso apostólico y que nos permita buscar, con un corazón puro, lo que más favorezca la comunión entre las diversas vocaciones y lo que sea mejor para que el Regnum Christi realice su misión al servicio de la Iglesia. Que Dios nos libre de todo aquello que pueda empañar o truncar el don de Dios.

Pediría oraciones por los padres capitulares, las delegadas de las consagradas, los laicos consagrados y los seglares que participarán en la asamblea común. Pedir para todos la gracia de la apertura y docilidad al Espíritu Santo, que lleguemos a las asambleas y permanezcamos en ellas conscientes de nuestra pequeñez para llevar adelante el don de Dios, y a la vez consciente de que es Él quien se ha comprometido con esta obra suya y lo seguirá haciendo.

I was born in Chile on April 1, 1964.  I found out about Regnum Christi just a few years after it was founded in Chile.  The consecrated women had not yet arrived.  When I first knew about the Movement, one of the things that attracted me the most was the Christ centered spirituality as well as its strong apostolic drive.  I also remember how much my Regnum Christi team helped me.  We had friendships among us, and we could share our great ideals and commit ourselves in an apostolic mission.  My accompaniment in spiritual direction was a key element, as well as the important moments of formation and prayer.

I was consecrated on November 26, 1989.  My first years of apostolate were in the young women’s section in western Mexico City as well as working with Regnum Christi missionaries.  After a few years, I began working as a formator of consecrated women in the formation centers in Rome, Monterrey and Madrid.  The majority of my life as a consecrated woman, has been dedicated to this mission.  In recent years, I have been serving as a general councilor in the government of the consecrated women.

As the director of the young women’s section in Mexico City, it was necessary to give attention to other sections in the areas surrounding the city that depended on our section.  I remember that during these years we were able to form a wonderful team amongst the consecrated women, formators and second degree members in the section.  These members had a deep understanding of their vocation as apostles and were profoundly passionate for Christ.  They searched for ways to form themselves in order to be integral Christians.  They were committed in their family life and in their social surroundings, as well as in their studies and professional life.  In the midst of their various responsibilities, they sought to dedicate time so that other young women could have the experience they were having.  They committed themselves as team leaders, supported ECYD and worked with adolescents.  Several times a year they visited the sections of the surrounding areas to help with the training and formation of formators in these localities. I remember that the encounters with Christ, as well as the moments of Eucharistic adoration gave them strength, joy and the impulse necessary to be witnesses of the love they had found. I remember this experience as something truly stimulating and engaging for them and for me.  I learned a lot about how to work with young people from some of the Legionaries and consecrated women who gave those of us who were less experienced, opportunities to learn and to be accompanied.

I hope the Assembly will be a time that will help us renew and strengthen the apostolic impulse, and that will allow us to seek, with a pure heart, what favors most the communion between the different vocations of the Movement as well as what is best for Regnum Christi in order to carry out its mission at the service of the Church.  May God free us from everything that may tarnish or diminish God’s gift.

I would ask for prayers for the Legionary priests participating in the General Chapter, the delegates of the consecrated women, the lay consecrated men and the lay members who will participate in the common assembly.  Please ask for everyone the grace of openness and docility to the Holy Spirit, so that we arrive to the assemblies and remain aware during them of our smallness to be able to move forward with God’s gift.  At the same time, pray that we are aware that it is God who has committed himself to this work and that He will continue to commit himself to it.
